According to the World Health Organization (WHO), people spend more than 90% of their time indoors in residential and non-residential buildings. Therefore, it is imperative that good indoor air quality in buildings is provided to its occupants to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Now more than ever, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, the HVAC sector has an enormous role to contribute to a healthier building environment and revitalize the member states economies.
The European Federation of the Sanitary and Heating Wholesale Trade (FEST) has been working with a number of experts from within its membership to lead the way in creating a unified standard for the classification of product data.
